Loan Requests
The Flood Family Collection welcomes loan requests from institutions that broaden the scholarship of American Art and foster educational experiences for audiences of all backgrounds. Please submit loan requests at least six months in advance of the exhibition opening and include the following:
• Artist and Title of the work being requested.
• Name and description of the exhibition.
• Venue(s) and Dates.
• Name, Address, Telephone, and Email for the borrowing institution's point of contact.
• Facilities Report for each venue.
Please note that the Collection does not lend to private individuals.

Copyright and Image Requests
The Flood Family Collection does not own the reproduction rights to the majority of the works in its collection. Those rights belong to the respective artist, artist's estate, or copyright owner.
For those works where the Collection does not have ownership of the copyright, please contact the artist, artist's estate, or the current copyright owner for permission to reproduce the work. Once the permission has been secured from the owner, please submit your request following the instructions below.
For those works where the copyright has lapsed or the Collection has ownership, we are happy to collaborate with institutions and individuals seeking to reproduce works for scholarly and educational purposes.
For those works where the ownership of the copyright is not clear, the Collection cannot provide authorization or release.
To request images, please provide the following:
• Artist and Title of the work being requested.
• Description of intended use (ie: print publication, web reproduction, press, etc.)
• Size or duration of use (ie: size of print run, length of online use, etc.) *Please note that licenses for digital use are limited to a five year maximum length, before renewal.
• Contact Name, Institution Name, Telephone, Address, and Email for the person making the request.
• For the works where the Collection does not own the copyright, please provide proof of having secured permission from the artist, artist's estate, or copyright owner.
